Brees in a bad spot...

...if the NFL owners and the player's union do not get a new agreement signed today that would up the salary cap. With no agreement, the cap stays at 2005 levels, which is $85.5 million. The teams that would most like to have him, will not have the money to pay him.

The Charger Organization once again is about ready to throw yet another body under the bus. Wake up Drew! It must suck to be you right now. Sure you have plenty of dough but you have no self respect. Please go to a team where you will be embraced. I am sure you will be a lot happier with a team that wants your services instead of one that keeps challenging them.

You said it bizzle! I just don't get it. The way the Chargers act it's like they think pro bowl QBs are not that big a deal! WTF?! Sign Brees. Start Rivers until Brees is 100% or if Rivers can manage to steal the team away then trade Brees. Letting him walk gets us what? NOTHING! And gets some other team a "FREE" pro bowl QB.
