The Bolts should show some backbone and player loyalty and sign Drew to a respectable multi-year contract. He took us to the top of the AFC West in 2004, and could make another run at it in 2006. We at least need a veteran that knows the offense to back-up Rivers (who will probably start this year if Drew is signed and is still healing).
Why did Drew have to go and get hurt? Drew's injury blew his chance of a long term deal. Drew and the Chargers need to get together and sign another 1 year deal. Marty should have never played Drew in what he called a very important game to go 10-6. Bullshit!!! You are out of the playoffs sit your pro bowl QB down and play the #2 guy.
No shit. That was some boneheaded coaching to start Brees that day.
