Oakland airport is a complete shithole. I was just there a few weeks ago and it is a nightmare.
I agree, non-stop via Alaska Airlines is waaaaay better than stopping over in Oakland. Alaska Air seems good, I took them to Cabo one year. Stay close to the bars!
