DirectTV Sucks Ass

So I did a practice run of setting up the dish today to get fired up for next Sunday!!! I was also going to sign up for Sunday Ticket so that we can get all the games and Fred said all his crew would chip in to pay.

No dice.

Because of the lame ass NFL blackout rules, in order to receive Sunday Ticket programming, your DirectTV receiver must be connected to a land-based phone line. LAME.

I did however call Direct TV and I am getting an upgraded dish and receiver so that we will be able to at least receive the local channel games in HD. But I wont have those until the Baltimore game...

“I don’t want to limit myself, but he’ll go into the second quarter at least,” Schottenheimer said.
Wide receiver Eric Parker injured his thumb Tuesday and did not practice on Wednesday. He figures to miss Saturday night’s contest."

Madden 07?

For us kids that want to play some video game football, what's the new game that all the kids are playing this season? Must be Madden 07, since it's the only officially NFL licensed game. But on what platform? 360 online... PSP anywhere and everywhere... or ol' school PS2? Damn, I haven't even cracked open my copy of Blitz yet.
