Chargers on Track to Super Bowl

In 1994 the San Diego Chargers made it to Super Bowl XXIX in Miami, Florida. This years team is on track for a repeat trip to South Florida to take care of some unfinished business. The talk of the town is a Chargers vs Cowboys showdown but we all know that we are pulling for Drew and the Saints. In the words of Bobby Ross going to Miami and losing to the 49ers "is not good for our football program." So what does Marty say about a trip to Miami?? W-W-W, We, Will Win!! One play at a time! This is our house! So let's get out there and kick some ass!!

Classic Eli...

Today I heard someone call the Giants and Eli Manning "the Raiders of the East Coast", which made me chuckle and think of this classic photo. And since we missed Faded Foto Friday this week, I thought I'd post it again. Nothing makes me happier than seeing Eli tank while the sports world talks up Rivers and the Chargers as the best team in the NFL. Of course, comparing our draft of LT vs. Atlanta's Vick gives me a warm fuzzy feeling as well.
